UKSIF Response: DWP consultation on draft regulations to improve climate governance and reporting by pension schemes
In our response, UKSIF expresses broad support for DWP’s draft regulations, which will ultimately help create a greener and more sustainable pensions system in the UK.
We do voice concerns in our response on the ability of pension schemes to practically meet the new requirements, and hope policymakers give serious consideration to wider work to improve trustees’ understanding of climate risks and opportunities.
