Description Global Child Forum was founded by the King and Queen of Sweden in 2009. Our aim is to improve the way businesses all over the world impact children. We do this by, in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group, publishing the worlds largest benchmark on how the 2000 largest companies in the world impact children. We offer tools, services, networking events etc (all free of charge) to help companies improve their scores and impact. We recently, started working with the financial sectors, we share the underlying benchmark data with them (also for free). To date, 14 investors wirth 7.2 trillion USD are using the data. Some of these are London based and our colleagues who work with the fiancial sector are British and spend much time in the UK. Approach Our approach centres around sharing out benchmark data and helping asset managers and owners incorporate it (and ultimately child rights) into active ownership and investment strategies. We also run engagement work, we recently created a coalition of investors who have started writing to companies urging change from a child rights perspective.
