Description Established in 1984, Foresight is a leading independent infrastructure and private equity investment manager with over £6.5 billion of assets under management. We manage money for more than 28,000 private investors and some of the world's leading financial institutions, government organisations, pension funds and insurance companies. Our team now exceeds 235 people across our global office network. We have a combined investment experience of more than 900 years and our AUM has more than doubled in the last five years. Sustainability and consideration of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) factors lie at the heart of Foresight’s business. We believe that acting conscientiously and investing responsibly are critical to the long-term success of our business and society as a whole. Approach
Our guiding principle is to create a sustainable legacy for future generations through the pursuit of innovative opportunities that deliver attractive returns for our investors. Our investment strategies are shaped by strong ESG values and aligned with international sustainability initiatives. We incorporate ESG criteria across all levels of our investment and portfolio analysis, while our alignment with external sustainability and ESG focused organisations allows us to strengthen our approach and provides frameworks for reporting on our progress. Our Infrastructure team invests heavily into the energy transition and the global decarbonisation agenda. Whether it is financing the UK’s largest solar farm, providing reserve power in moments of blackout, or investing into some of the largest onshore wind assets in the Nordics, our teams are working to create a sustainable legacy, fuelled by clean power and energy efficient systems. Our private equity team is committed to working towards a smarter future through growing small businesses around the UK. Underpinning our SME investing approach are five ESG Principles, which we have identified as the main areas where it is possible to evaluate, monitor and encourage portfolio companies to develop their ESG standards.
