Figures from IFA Promotion show that three times as many consumers sought advice on ethical investment in January 2007 compared with two years previously. And the number of IFAP members listing "Ethical Investment" as an area of specialism has doubled from 6 per cent to 12 per cent in the two years to January 2007.

And according to research released in November 2006 by the Carbon Trust, nearly two thirds of UK consumers are more likely to buy from a business they think is taking action to tackle climate change. Obviously it makes sense to green your own business, and our 'Adviser's Guide to Going Green' gives you some useful tips on how to achieve this. 

The development of these services has been supported by Friends Provident, Henderson Global Investors, Jupiter Asset Management and Norwich Union.  They have also been supported by the Government’s “Sector Sustainability Challenge”, which works with trade associations to help businesses that want to go green.
