Public awareness and media coverage of climate change has shot up in the last years. As the BBC reported in November 2006, the market research firm Superbrands found that the majority of consumers buying into the idea of ethical living are in the A, B and C1 categories.

For financial advisers, this means an opportunity to

  • find a way to increase consumer interest in your services
  • demonstrate your green credentials to existing and potential clients
  • demonstrate that you are reducing your impact on the environment
